I had my first check-up appointment post-surgery this week and thankfully all looks to be okay🙏. My stitches were removed, a new and lighter cast put on, but I still have over 4 weeks without being able to put any weight on it (and have been told I have to spend 85% of each day with it up in the air😭). My next check-up is now not until the beginning of November. Until then, I need to adapt to my new life of immobility as best I can.
With a new cast on, this time I chose green, because in colour psychology, this is considered the colour of hope and healing (something I am needing plenty of at the moment🤣). It is also supposed to induce calming, tranquil and relaxing vibes💚.
In other news, with thanks to my other half, I had my first proper shower today🚿💦 – I never knew such a simple thing would make me feel so emotional and happy at the same time.
